Rite Protocol

The open standard for the present tense of the record: recurring observances an agent performs with evidence, a second party witnesses with a basis of its own, and only a named human gives consequence.

Rite Protocol publishes ritual/1, the format for recurring practice. An agent performs an observance and cites evidence; a second party — never the performer or its principal — witnesses it with a basis of their own; and only a named human confers consequence. Nothing else in the estate records the tense between intending something and having shipped it.

Its value is what it refuses. The format carries no value and no standing at any depth, a witness that copies the performer’s evidence is rejected as one source counted twice, and an unwitnessed observance can never be consecrated. A practice log that cannot be inflated is the only kind worth reading, and every other habit and streak format on the market is inflatable by design.
