The Realm

The living, agent-navigable world above the estate’s houses: one fetch gets a machine the whole map, and a person enters through a house, an archetype and a crest folded from the same register.

The Realm draws the estate as a living world: every house is a real organisation, and one fetch of a single manifest gets a machine the whole map — who exists, where their machine door is, and the feed of what they have done. A person enters the same world through a house, an archetype and a crest, folded from the identical register so the human and machine views can never disagree about which houses exist.

It links a house only when that house is live, the oldest rule the estate keeps about a register applied to a world drawn over it, and it points at The Chronicle’s feed for the record and borrows RitualOS’s identity taxonomy rather than reinventing one. A map that links to what does not exist teaches a reader the rest of it cannot be trusted either.
