Development

Develop companies and infrastructure rather than only holding them: form the vertical, build the rails, and run what you own.

Development is the fourth turn: the proceeds fund the next property and the accumulated capability makes it cheaper than the last. Both halves have to be true for the cycle to close. Proceeds without capability is a fund; capability without proceeds is a workshop.

The practical test is what a new property inherits on day one. A charter, a machine handshake, a front door, both record formats, a checkpoint over them, a link preview and an icon derived from its own declared accent — none of which it writes, and all of which existed because an earlier property needed them. Where a new property has to build one of those itself, that is a gap in the estate rather than a task for the property.

What it refuses

Building the next thing from scratch. If a property cannot draw on something the estate already built, either the estate is missing a layer or the property does not belong in it, and both of those are findings rather than reasons to start over.

Where it is practised

The group runs an agent mesh, an identity layer, a settlement ledger and an open standard, and its own companies are the first customers.
